Throughout the senior school year, letters will be sent via email regarding important notices and information pertaining to your senior. These letters will also be posted on our website. Check back frequently to stay updated on what information is posted.
Senior Clarification Form: This form will be handed out at the senior class meeting the second day of school and will be available as a fillable form sent to the members of the class of 2023 through their school email. This form must completed and returned by the end of the second week of school. This form lists exactly how seniors would like their name displayed on their diploma. This is an official document and the name should the same as what is listed on the student' birth certificate.
Cap and Gown and Announcement Information for the class of 2023: Jostens will meet with the senior class on Monday, September 12 at CHS and will take orders on Thursday, September 15 and 22. If you are a JVS student, please contact the JVS office for the date that Jostens will be at JVS. Download more information concerning late orders or orders to purchase only the cap/gown. Call Jostens directly and speak with a service representative at 1.800.JOSTENS (567-8367) for additional information. You can also receive information by email at www.jostens.com/contact. LATE FEES WILL APPLY IF CAP AND GOWN IS NOT ORDERED BY DECEMBER 19, 2022.
The Senior Portrait Deadline for the class of 2023 is in March, 2023. The exact date will be posted on our daily announcements second semester. Prestige Portraits is Columbia's Senior photographer. Seniors have the option to have their portrait taken at CHS in the winter. If seniors choose the onsite date , they will still be able to choose the portrait that will be used for the Class of 2023 composite, yearbook and Rural Urban news publication and have the opportunity to purchase this portrait if desired. Senior Information End of First Semester: This letter will provide information regarding various academic requirements and clarify some operational procedures prior to graduation. The flip side of the letter lists important dates as seniors move into their final semester at CHS. This will be mailed with first semester report cards and posted at the beginning of the second semester.
Senior Fourth Quarter Letter: This letter consists of events for the end of the year and reminders pertaining to graduation. This will be mailed to all seniors residences and posted at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
Graduation Application: The bottom portion of this application must be returned to the main office indicating whether or not the student will be participating in the graduation ceremony. The student and parent/guardian signatures are required even if the senior is 18 years of age. This Application is sent to all senior residences and posted in May.
Commencement Instructions: This letter contains specific instructions for the commencement ceremony. It will be posted and mailed to all senior residences in May.
