Family Math and Literacy Night

Join us at what will be our 5th year having fun on the farm! Columbia's PK-8 students and family members are invited to join us down on the farm on October 27, 2021 from 4:30 until dusk!  Family Math Night is now Family Math and Literacy Night with station options for your family to make the most of their night. The cost for this event is $2 a person, paid in cash at the farm's entrance.

This very popular evening will be full of fun from grade-level appropriate math and literacy stations, to face painting, hay rides, and line dancing, you're sure to leave in the fall spirit!  Take family photos in one of Red Wagon's many photo zones, write stories together, see how tall you are this fall AND leave with hot cider, a small pumpkin, and popcorn courtesy of Red Wagon Farm.

Please RSVP HERE so that we have a rough idea as to the amount of food, drink, and supplies needed. Please direct any questions you might have to Kim Rumes in an email: [email protected] thank you!

*Please note this is an outdoor event, and will therefore be mask optional!

Step Up to Quality 5 Star Rating

The Little Raiders Preschool is proud to announce that we have received a Five Star Step Up to Quality Rating.  Step Up to Quality is a rating system that awards one to five stars to learning and development programs that go above and beyond minimum licensing standards.  Programs with star ratings have highly trained teachers, develop children’s school readiness skills, and are committed to continuous improvement.  For these reasons, the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services are committed to improving early childhood opportunities for all children.

We would like to thank the Board of Education, administration, staff, students, parents and the community for their support of our Little Raiders Preschool program.

Director's Message

Welcome to the Little Raiders Preschool. We are very excited to have our little Raiders here in the Columbia Local School District.   Our staff are licensed by the Ohio Department of Education and are dedicated to providing an experience that best meet all student needs and abilities. All children are educated in an inclusive setting in partnership with families and the community.

The program is designed for children four to five years of age and is aligned with Ohio’s Early Learning Content Standards.    Typically developing children (peer models)   are an integral part of the program as they demonstrate age appropriate play, communication and self-help skills while learning.

For more information, contact Judy Skoczen at (440)236-5021.
