In December 2000 Mr. Bunner graduated from Ashland University with a B.S. degree in elementary education. Upon graduating that winter he was hired as a part-time classroom size reduction teacher in the Midview Local School system working with first grade readers. The next fall, he moved into a full time position teaching third grade in the same district. Over the years he has taught third, fourth, and sixth grade at the elementary school level and 7th grade math at the middle school level.
In the spring of 2008 Mr. Bunner received his M.Ed. degree in educational administration from Ashland University.
As principal he oversees nearly 35 faculty and support staff and a student body of approximately 350 students. In his free time he enjoys reading, yard work, and is an avid Cleveland sports fan. He is married with two daughters.
