Vacancy Notice - Office Secretary

CONTRACT DATE: 2017/18 school year.

QUALIFICATIONS: Proficiency in typing and other secretarial skills. Strong human relations experience. Ability to carry out independent responsibilities. Ability to operate a broad array of office equipment including computers.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Within the approved limits of Board policy as delineated by the Principal, the Secretary is responsible for duties as outlined by the job description as well as duties as designated by the building Principal.

HOURS: 5.0 hours per day

ASSIGNMENT BLDG: Copopa Elementary School

SALARY: Negotiated Agreement

Reports cards for students in grades 5-12 are available.  Please login through the Parent Portal to access your child's report card.  
New School Hours for 2017/18 School Year

Due to the change in the 2017/18 school calendar, afternoon dismissal times had to be adjusted at our three buildings.  Please see below for the new buildings times:

Copopa   8:20 a.m. - 3:33 p.m.
CMS         8:15 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
CHS          7:30 a.m. - 2:48 p.m.
 
Before/After School Care

Starting in the fall of 2017, Springboard Education in America will offer before and after-school care at Copopa Elementary School for students in grades K-6.

Free and Reduced Price Lunches

The Columbia Local School District today announced its 2016-2017 program year policy for free and reduced-price meals for students unable to pay the full price of meals or milk served under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast, After School Care Snack or Special Milk Program. Each school office and the central office has a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed by any interested party.

 
College Credit Plus
In an effort to make sure that all parents of Ohio middle and high school students know about Ohio's College Credit Plus program, the following directive was issued from Dr. Richard A. Ross, Superintendent of Public Instruction, Ohio Department of Education.
