Dear Raider Parents, Coaches and Fans,
To say that this year has been anything but typical is an understatement. Normally we would be frying up a storm for Friday night football games and be knee deep in planning our biggest fundraiser, "Nite at the Races" but unfortunately, this year is unlike any other we have seen.
Like many fundraising organizations, the Columbia Athletic Booster Club is trying to think out of the box and come up with creative ways to raise money for our Student Athlete Programs. We welcome all ideas that you have for fundraising and would appreciate you reaching out with suggestions via our email,
[email protected]
For the past few years, we have been fortunate enough to have donators contribute over $30,000 per year. We have used these funds to purchase equipment for the weight room, bats for baseball and softball, replacement uniforms for various competitive teams and cheerleading, golf bags, wrestling equipment, cross-country and track equipment, not to mention items to improve technology and the conditions of our gyms and fields.
To be able to grant these funds, we rely heavily on our two biggest fundraisers, the concession stand during fall home games and "The Nite at the Races" (the Boosters receive no money from gate admissions at sporting events). Unfortunately, with game attendance being limited and events with large groups being frowned upon, we will struggle to provide funding this year.
This is where yo come in... please consider becoming a member of the Columbia Athletic Booster Club. Your membership is tax deductible (tax is #34-1919064) and will go a long way in helping us continue to support our athletic programs at CMS and CHS. On the reverse side of our
Membership Form we list the different levels of support that you can provide.
If you have any questions at all, please reach out to our Membership Chair, Shari Ross or to any Booster Board Member. We would be happy to speak with you.
Thank you in advance for your consideration. No donation or membership level is too small.
With gratitude,
Columbia Athletic Booster Club Board Members
