Speech Language Pathologist

QUALIFICATIONS:  Proper Speech/Language Pathology licensure.  First year clinical license is acceptable.

APPOINTMENT DATE:  August, 2019 Board Meeting

CONTRACT TERM:  120 days, 2019/20 School Year

SALARY:  per negotiated agreement

BROAD FUNCTION:  The Speech/Language Pathologist manages his/her position in such a way that his/her goals and objectives support and amplify goals of the school district.  The Speech/Language Pathologist assists in the functions of (1) planning and developing, (2) implementing, and (3) evaluating and revising the educational program.  In addition, the Speech/Language Pathologist (4) is actively involved in parent, colleague, and student relations and (5) participates in personal development activities.

WORK CALENDAR:

June 3-28  -  20 days
July 1-31  -  18 days  (No work on July 4 or July 5)
August 1-28  -  20 days
58 days total

8 hours per day which includes half-hour paid lunch
Work hours 6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Four student workers (college student or high school grad, minimum age of 18)

SALARY:   $8.55/hour
