This year-long course was created for the highly motivated Juniors and Seniors that would like to be prepared for college-level thinking. Students will be introduced and engaged in the American government system. Our study of the American government will begin with the foundations that created the American government and end with how we actively participate within our government. Students will be asked to learn and review the origins of our federal government, from the creation of the constitution to the separation of powers. Students will be engaged in real-life debate and situations that will enhance their understanding of United States government.
